How we work

Quality and Safety

The quality of an engineering job is not visible at handover — it is visible six months later, when the equipment is still running and nobody had to go back. What follows is the method we use to get there.

The method

01

Survey before the proposal

Before quoting, we establish what is actually there: the equipment, its condition and the access conditions. A quotation given over the phone is an estimate that will change on site.

02

Scope written and closed

What will be done, in what order and by when goes into a written proposal. Additional work discovered during the intervention is reported and authorised before proceeding, not invoiced at the end.

03

Execution against defined criteria

Acceptance limits — clearances, torques, test readings — are set before starting. "Still acceptable" becomes a measurement rather than the opinion of whoever is on site that day.

04

Testing before handover

Equipment is tested running before the work is called complete. Handover is with the installation working, not with the last bolt tightened.

05

Written record of what was done

Readings taken, components replaced, changes made. It stays with you, so the next intervention can compare rather than start over.

06

Follow-up

When a job reveals a cause that will recur, we say so. Repairing the same failure three times is revenue for us and loss for the client.

Safety

We work in operating industrial installations — plants, mines, ports, substations. The safety rules of each site take precedence over our own, and teams are briefed on them before starting.

  • Compliance with the permit-to-work and site rules of the installation we are on
  • Teams briefed on site hazards before work begins
  • Personal protective equipment appropriate to the task and the environment
  • Isolation and lock-out of energy sources before any intervention
  • Live working, work at height and confined space entry planned case by case
  • Incidents reported to the client, not resolved quietly

Certifications

MozGlobal Engineering operates as a company registered and licensed under Mozambican law. This section will be completed with the company's technical certifications. We would rather leave it empty than list standards we cannot evidence with the corresponding certificate — in pre-qualification for the extractive and oil and gas sectors, those declarations are checked.
